Our veterinary team at Park Pet Hospital is dedicated to all of our patients and their loving owners. We back this dedication with over a decade of experience serving the Lethbridge community.
What to Expect at Your Veterinary Appointment
Knowing what to expect from your first visit to our hospital will make the experience much more comfortable and pleasant for both you and your pet.
We recommend you arrive 10 minutes prior to your first appointment to complete our New Patient Form. If you would like to save time, you can complete the New Patient Form in advance online.
Meet Your Veterinarian Team
A member of our veterinary team will walk through your pet's medical history with you and discuss any health issues they are experiencing. We will also take time to answer any questions and address any concerns that you might have.
Examination, Diagnosis & Treatment
After we have examined your pet, we will discuss any diagnosis made, as well as options for treatment.

Discover more about appointment booking, office policies, and our payment options by reading our hospital FAQs.
- What types of payment options are available?
We expect payment in full at the time we provide services or discharge your pet. We accept payment via cash, cheque, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.
- Are there payment plans available for my pet’s care?
We are proud to offer Paybright as a financing option. They offer an easy online application process.
- Will I be provided with an estimate of costs?
We will provide you with an estimate of costs prior to treatment.
Our dedicated staff will ensure you leave with a complete understanding of the treatments and associated costs.
- Should I call ahead to book an appointment?
Park Pet Hospital is now proud to offer walk-in care for pets in Lethbridge and surrounding communities.
Walk-in appointments provide same day or same week veterinary care for non-emergency illness and injuries for cats and dogs. This service is available to both clients and non-clients during our regular business hours.
That said, if you would prefer to make an appointment ahead of time please feel free to call us.
- What is your appointment cancellation policy?
We understand schedules may change; however, we ask that you provide us with at least 24 hours notice for any appointment changes. A missed appointment prevents us from scheduling another patient that could benefit from treatment.
- What types of animals do you treat?
We provide veterinary care for cats, dogs and rabbits in Lethbridge.
- Where can I purchase my pet's prescription and food?
We have an in-house pharmacy for all your pet's medication needs. We are also a proud provider of many prescription diets to meet your pet's dietary needs.
- What are the fees associated with an appointment?
You are financially responsible for the examination fee and diagnostics or treatment that you consent to. This payment will be due at the time of service.
For further diagnostics, hospitalization or surgery, an upfront deposit is required, with payment due in full upon discharge of your pet.
- What are the fees associated with an emergency visit?
For all emergency examinations, our team members will provide you with an initial estimate. Upon our veterinarian assessment, a treatment plan will be developed which may contain further diagnostics and treatment options.
- Can you help with my pet insurance?
We will happily help you complete pet insurance forms for your pet's visit.
